We are extremely happy to announce that we'll be expanding our event in December! Our monthly events have been such a blast that we couldn't resist pulling out all the stops for you craft-obsessed holiday shoppers. So come join us at the Ukranian Cultural Center on Saturday, December 9 and load up on amazing gifts from over 70 top-notch vendors! Yep, you heard that right... over 70!! Plus we'll have swag bags, raffle prizes, and the highly anticipated CRAFT magazine as a sponsor.

We're very excited to have MY MY as a Felt Club sponsor! If you've never visited MY MY, you're in for a treat. MY MY is run by Taryn Hipp, who has created a fantastic web shop for anyone wanting to load up on goodies that are indeed (as her motto declares) "Handmade and Totally Awesome".



Taryn herself is a great crafter, making eye-catching handspun yarns, buttons, zines, and more. In addition to providing us with 1" Felt Club buttons, she was kind enough to donate a whole bunch of her cute and colorful Do-It-Yourself Jewelry Kits, which will be available at this weekend's event. Felt Club recently taped two shows for the new season of Uncommon Threads on DIY Network, which start airing in January 2007. The first episode we taped featured Teresa from Sewing Stars, Wendy a/k/a The Singing Librarian and myself (pictured above with host Allison Whitlock). Show #2 featured FOF (Friend of Felt!) Cynthia Combs, Shawneemonkey, and yours truly. We'll be sure to keep everyone posted on airdates for these episodes (#230 and #253 for those keeping track...Hi Mom!).
